WBA Oceania Heavyweight champ Zhang Jun Long (15 wins – 15 KO’s) successfully defended his crown against Argentinian Rogelio Omar Rossi (18-5-1) in Beijing capital on 23rd January with a 1st round KO. Rossi couldn’t handle the champions southpaw power as he targeted the bigger frame of the challenger and put him down with a precision body punch. Referee Ferlin Marsh had no option but to wave it off as the Argentinian fighter failed to beat the fatal 10 count.
Not only is this heavyweight champion undefeated with 15 KO’s in 15 fights, it is very rare to find a sports person in this game who shows so much compassion and thought for the under-privileged by sponsoring events and donating goods to charities. This particular show was sponsored by his promotional company Kenal Promotions and was done for the benefit of orfelinato (orhans place). All proceeds from the show were donated to orphanage along with school goods and clothing for the children. The world welcomes people like Zhang Jun Long who are role models for everyone.
